I would like to write in support of the above Bill, in particular the prohibition of snares and glue traps (including so-called humane restrain cables). I am delighted that Wales is looking to ban these devices, as they cause unnecessary suffering, and lingering deaths to those caught in them. In addition, snares and traps are indiscriminate and can effect species which are not intended to be caught, including protected species and domestic animals.
